Amazon announced four new Kindle readers, including the first color reader, the Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition, the redesigned Kindle Scribe, the fastest Kindle Paperwhite, and the new entry-level Kindle.
Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition supports color display, rich and paper-like effect, high contrast, water resistance, fast page turning, wireless charging, automatic headlight adjustment and other features, and 8 weeks of battery life.
The new Kindle Scribe locates e-readers and note-taking tools with a 300ppi screen and the Amazon Premium Pencil feels like writing on paper. It offers note taking and Active Canvas, allowing notes to be added to book pages, and a hidden sidebar. Amazon also introduced AI functions that can summarize the main points of the page, and the note function supports handwriting style font export.
The new Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition is a 7-inch waterproof e-reader with a glas-free “Colorsoft” display that supports full-spectrum hues, views book covers, comics, and highlights sentences. It has self-adjusting headlights, 32GB of storage and USB-C wireless charging, an eight-week battery life, omits lock screen ads, and a metallic black finish.
Amazon’s new Kindle reader brings users more choices and innovative features to meet different needs. The introduction of a color display adds a new dimension to the reading experience, while Kindle Scribe’s note-taking and AI capabilities make it an even more powerful tool. These products demonstrate Amazon’s continued innovation and evolution in the e-reader space.
